I’m Marti, a collage artist creating playful, dreamy, and adventurous works that bring together found images, layered textures, and vibrant colour. Through my practice, I craft small visual stories that feel imaginative and slightly surreal, often with a touch of humour. For me, collage is not only a way of storytelling but also a form of gentle escape. The act of cutting, arranging, and composing becomes a calming, grounding process, a relief from stress and anxiety, where playfulness and experimentation take precedence over perfection. My collages celebrate curiosity and the joy of making, placing as much importance on the creative process as on the final image itself.
I offer workshops and classes to inspire people to create freely and connect to their instincts. My workshops are social moments to make new friends and create a safe community space in which the art is a medium to get to know other people and explore ourselves through the process.
I use everyday materials and anything that people would waste: no need to print new images! There is already so much around us; we just need to curiously open our eyes to what we already have.
I love adapting the theme of the workshops to the occasion, season and customers' requests. My goal is to spread the wonders of art and creativity all around us.
