This is a wonderful activity for anyone new to soap making, where you will learn to create your own artisan soaps using the traditional cold process method. It's a fun and hands-on workshop with plenty of opportunities to experiment with lovely natural ingredients.You will use a blend of natural butters, fats and oils, alongside pure essential oils and botanicals to create a soap that is personal to you. You'll get to choose your own unique combination of fragrance, colour and decoration.What you can expect to learn:
- A brief history and the basic chemistry of soap making
- The benefits of different soap types and making your own
- An overview of raw ingredients, botanicals, and essential oils
- How to safely use soap-making equipment and ingredients
- Techniques for naturally colouring your soap with clays and spices
- A full demonstration, followed by a practical soap-making session
- How to cut, cure, and store your finished soap

The instructor was lovely and the set up in her studio was fabulous. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. I wish i could give her more than 5 stars. I would highly recommend it. On an side note the high tea with sandwiches and cakes that was provided was amazing. The scones as promised did not dissapoint, they were super tasty.
