Smartphone Photography Walkabout Workshop

One key element for taking better photographs is knowing your equipment, and even if you use your smartphone every day there is still so much for you to learn about how to use its camera!

You'll be guided on this journey by professional photographers who have plenty of top tips and tricks to share with you. They'll show you how to take pictures with more creativity, allowing you to get the snaps you've always wanted.

With the Borough Market as your backdrop, you will learn how to take photographs with more control and consideration as you gain a deeper understanding of the technical parts of your smartphone camera.

The class is outdoors and fully hands-on. You'll take plenty of pictures that will show off different techniques and allow you to practice your new photography skills.

In this photography class, we will cover:

• A few basics of our camera phones.
• Tips on focusing and exposure.
• Composition, using perspective.
• Dealing with converging verticals.
• Finding the right background for your shots.
• How to compose a great shot –using the rules and breaking them.
• How to be creative with depth of field.
• How to take control of natural light.
• How to edit your shots to enhance them.

Classes are kept small and supportive. This means you'll always get the personal feedback you need and you might even make some new friends along the way. It's a perfect London activity for anyone looking for fun group activities or solo days out in the city!

By the end of this class, you will leave feeling confident in your new skills and full of the inspiration you need to fill photo albums with your incredible images.
