What you'll do
Looking for a creative and fun way to spend a Saturday morning with friends or meet new ones? This Stack Ring Making Workshop is perfect for beginners and a wonderful way to switch off and start your weekend!In this relaxed and friendly workshop, you’ll make 2–3 silver stack rings crafted with your own hands. It’s a wonderfully satisfying feeling shaping the silver and fusing a join when the solder melts with the touch of a flame. And that final tapping with a hammer, coaxing the ring round and adding the final texture. By the end of the workshop, we know you’ll feel immensely proud of what you’ve achieved! Your friends and family will be so impressed!This workshops is a beautiful way to spend a few hours, making jewellery and memories you’ll treasure forever. It could even be the start of a new life long passion!No previous jewellery making experience is needed, we’ll guide you every step of the way.What will I make?You will make three silver stack rings using a variety of different techniques to form and texture your rings which you can mix and match and stack together.What will happen on the day?You will start the session getting to know your fellow makers and looking at examples of what you will be making. You will also be supplied with everything you need, including a pad, pencil, silver, and tools.After measuring the finger you'd like to wear your rings on, we will work out how much silver you will need. You will then bend and form the silver to make your rings, solder and texture them before applying a bright or satin finish.For an additional £30 per ring, you can also opt to yellow gold or rose gold plate your rings for that extra richness or contrast. This is outsourced to professional platers, so it will need to be collected or posted to you a few weeks later.We will end the workshop admiring your creative achievements!

Knowledge required
No previous experience is needed, just a steady hand, a little patience, and a willingness to give it a go!
What to bring
- Reading glasses (if you need them!)
- Apron if you wish to protect your clothing.
- Money or card payment for optional gold plating and posting rings to you (if collecting isn't possible)
- Clothes: Casual and not too precious as they may get a bit dusty or damaged. Avoid long, loose-fitting sleeves and anything that might catch or get caught while you are working.
- Shoes: Casual flat shoes and no open-toed sandals in case you drop a hammer or something hot on them!
- Hair: Tie long hair back.
