What you'll do
If you've ever wanted to give jewellery making a try and wanted a good place to start, this three hour silversmithing workshop will take you through the stages of making a set of three gorgeous stacking rings that you'll wear with pride or give as a wonderful gift.
You'll have a choice of silver wire shapes and a copper wire, and your tutor will guide you through the processes needed to make your set of three personalised rings. You will learn to anneal and texture metal, measure and saw the right amount, shape and form, create a neat join and solder, sand and finish your work.
Everything you need will be ready and waiting for you at your teacher's studio, and they'll be on hand throughout the class to give you tips and advice to make sure your rings turn out the best they can be.
You'll leave with a whole host of nifty new skills under your belt, along with your amazing handmade rings.
The workshop will take about 3 hours with a 20/30mins set up and pack up either side.

Hi, I'm Zoe. I established Zoe Ruth Designs in 2012 with a love for creating beautiful everyday jewellery. I design and make my pieces using traditional techniques and I love to teach people how to make their own jewellery from scratch, by hand, with little or no previous knowledge. It's so much fun, a great creative break from your normal day, and you make a piece of jewellery to take with you that day.
