Shenice Ghani

Customer Service Lead and Growth Partner

Shenice Ghani
Hey, I’m Shenice!
I’m from Newcastle, and after spending some time living in Carlisle while studying psychology at university, I’ve been back home. Since finishing my degree, I’ve worked in a variety of customer service roles, which has given me a real appreciation for the importance of connection and communication. That’s why being part of the team at ClassBento means so much to me – I truly relate to our mission of improving mental health through the creative arts, and I feel proud to support it every day as a Growth Partner and the lead for our Customer Service team.
Outside of work, I love getting outdoors with friends and family whenever I can, whether that's exploring somewhere new or just enjoying some fresh air closer to home. I also enjoy cooking, travelling, and getting stuck into a good book. And I’m a huge lover of a good candle – I’ll always have one burning at home, which is why our candle-making workshops are a personal favourite of mine.

I'm very much a home-bird at heart! Outside of work, I'm a big reader; I love true crime, but I'll happily get lost in some fantasy fiction too. I'm always up for a day out exploring somewhere new, especially if it involves good food, a great coffee and a long walk to round it off.

About me

  • BSc (Hons) Applied Psychology
  • I usually finish a book or two in a week.
  • I used to hate coffee, and now I absolutely love it (coconut milk iced latte is a personal fave!).

Top weekend activity

I love grabbing a coffee and having a seafront walk to start the day, then finding somewhere nice to eat or having a little browse at the shops to pick up a new book.

Favourite craft

I love candles! My house has a lot of candles in every room, and I always have a wax melt burning, so for me it would definitely be candle making.

3 top tips to recharge and unwind

  • Fuel your body. Keeping your energy steady with food that actually makes you feel good helps your mind stay balanced and clear.
  • Move in ways that feel natural. Long walks, exploring new places, fresh air and a good coffee all count; gentle movement you enjoy is the easiest to stick with.
  • Feed your mind with curiosity. Reading, discovering new spots and taking time for small rituals keeps your brain engaged without overwhelming it.

3 top tips for embracing creativity

  • Stay curious. Follow the things that spark your interest, even if they seem random. Curiosity is the quickest way to unlock new ideas.
  • Create without pressure. Let yourself make things just for fun, not perfection. When you remove the expectation to 'be good', creativity flows so much more easily.
  • Switch up your environment. New places, new walks, new cafés, new routines. A small change in scenery can completely shift your perspective and open up fresh inspiration.
