  • 5/5 from Fabbiha Begum, attended Sep 2026: Anjum was a great teacher. She is very kind and supportive. She shows and explains things well. She is also very patient. For my first lesson as a beginner, I wanted to learn how to set up the machine, how to adjust jeans and trousers, and practice stitching on the machine. The aim of the first session was met, and Anjum kindly adjusted my garments for me as well. I liked the pace of the session. It did not feel like I was overloaded with information. It was simple. There was demonstration, and I was able to ask questions along the way. I had a go at cutting lengths and sewing. I liked that the teacher was very nice, and also very experienced.
  • 5/5 from Sufia Akhter, attended Jun 2026: I feel so lucky to have come across this class. Anjum was soo lovely, so patient with me, she is a brilliant teacher. I learned so much in this one lesson than I have learned from any video I have watched. Anjum guided me through the steps to make my laptop sleeve. We even had time to make a little pouch I can use as a pencil case with my leftover fabric. I cannot wait to attend my next class. I feel much more confident to use my sewing machine now and I cannot wait to make my own clothes.
  • 5/5 from Swetha Charles, attended May 2026: Loved it!! Anjum had so much experience and was an excellent and patient teacher
  • 5/5 from Maya Hanspal, attended May 2026: Heba’s sewing workshop was simply excellent. She started the class by teaching us the basics of using a sewing machine and was able to tailor her advice based on what we have at home as well. After we got to grips with the machine, she taught us to make a tote bag. She was a very clear and patient teacher and helped to correct any little mistakes we made along the way. She is clearly very knowledgeable about sewing and was kind enough to teach us some extras, like how to take measurements. I highly recommend this class!
