What you'll do

You'll begin by getting comfortable with the sewing machine and completing your first project during the very first session. It's a low-pressure environment where you can choose between whipping up a stylish cushion cover or a handy tote bag to take home.As you progress through the sessions, you'll get to grips with a variety of essential techniques that will serve you throughout your sewing life. You'll explore the fun of patchwork and applique, and learn how to tackle zips, buttons, and buttonholes with ease. Once you've built up your confidence, you'll use these new skills to work on a homeware or accessories project of your choosing, selected from a hand-picked collection of patterns.

Make Mee Studio is run by Tracey & Jaime. We are two enthusiastic life long sewers (both sewing since were 7 & 5 years old!) We love sharing our making skills with others. We have over 10 years of combined teaching experience working with children and adults.We offer sewing lesson, alterations, makes and commissions in our Brockley-based studio and are active in our local community offering workshops to anyone and everyone who will sit down at a sewing machine with us!
