It all felt a bit rushed, managed to keep but only just.
Ended up with a pretty nice garland though

Easy to follow video instructions
Would have been better for me to consolidate double stitch before moving into treble stitch, I’m easily confused

I was a complete beginner and hoped this course would kick-start me into using my sewing machine (bought three years ago and still unused) to make lovely things
How right I was - the course was only six people and a wonderfully patient and encouraging teacher. It was relaxed and friendly, with all of us spurring each other on to make our cushion covers. We were all so pleased and proud of the finished items and delighted to be able to take home a plump, beautiful cushion after just two weeks. I was glad I had taken along my own sewing machine as I feel like I understand it now and will definitely be making more (square) things
