I had booked a crochet problem solving session. The pattern is a hobbycraft artisan christmas stocking pattern. I started it two years ago gave up but last november i was determined to make the stocking. Despite the help of two experienced crochet friends i have not been able to make the stocking.
Both the ladies tried very hard to make sense of the pattern too. Whilst one continued with the crochet, her colleague contacted head office to find where the artisan worked then phoned the store to ask for help. The store is lovely however customers continued to ask the staff running my one to one for advice- it needed to be more private or a sign to say workshop in progress. Whilst i’m not any further forward with finishing my project, i feel confident that with the staff’s help i will be able to make the stocking.

Irene is brilliant - the time whizzed by. Irene’s instructions are excellent & she went at the right pace for me. Even when my internet failed,Irene repeated her instructions & checked i was ok. ❤️

Emma had a very lovely manner- encouraging & showed/ explained lots of ways to perfect the brush lettering technique. I have tried in the past & found it very difficult. Emma’s suggestions made it seem much easier. I also felt the progression from practice to completing a phrase very satisfying. Well done Emma. Pens lovely.
