Becki was very good bearing in mind the bad start. It transpires that all of us got sent the Macrame Bauble Pattern and not the brush lettering guide sheets! I believe Becki has sent you an email and has asked for these to be sent to us. This is the second time I have had a problem when booking a Hobbycraft course.

I had Alex teach me at Banbury. Alex was very enthusiastic, told me about some of the products in store to do with brush lettering and the products contained in the box. Whilst undertaking the brush lettering however it became apparent that Alex had had no formal training by Hobbycraft or Becki Clark who prepared the brush lettering course. I think Hobbycraft should ensure that all its staff who are going to teach anything should be trained properly. Also one hour was just not long enough when you are a beginner. The course needed to be at least 1.5 hours. Bearing in mind the Banbury store did not close until 8.00 pm I do not understand why the course could not be longer. Also to encourage more people to attend (I was the only one there) you need to start the course at 6.00 pm at the earliest. Most people do not finish work until 5.00 pm. I am lucky I finish at 4.15 pm but even for me it was very tight and I only got there for 1 minute to spare!
