The whole experience was superb; teacher, venue, the results of the practice. And excellent value for money. If the teacher ever does a follow up course, I would do it.

This was a fantastic workshop and I loved it all. Richard is an excellent teacher. He is knowledgeable, committed, energetic and has a good sense of fun. I enjoyed all aspects of the process. I've worked with gold leaf before but in a different context so this was a real learning experience. The maximum number of students is five so everyone gets personal attention and you can learn also from what the others are doing. The workroom is part of the shop which sells the most beautiful handmade things. It makes for a very friendly atmosphere. An added bonus is that a simple lunch is provided which is taken at Foxy's Deli just across the road. I thoroughly recommend this workshop.
