The workshop was okay, but not sure it really needed a workshop! Once the instructor had told us how to set up the tool and shown us how to use it, then the rest of the session was just following along. Only really needed about 15 minutes and then we were good to go. I think I'd expected that there might be different techniques or something to justify the length of the workshop, but it really is just as straightforward as turn the tool on, wait for it to heat up, then mark the box.

Fun workshop with lots of different options. One of my small decorations was broken, but there were plenty of others. The workshop leader had lots of suggestions for extra things we could do like adding glitter to the roof of the house or painting the outside of the plastic baubles.

Kit was great with enough to make several cards. Workshop leader was good too. The workshop was pretty fast paced with lots covered in the hour (and a bit). I didn’t manage to keep up but still got lots of ideas.

Kit and host were both good, but class itself was only about 40 minutes of teaching. I felt like there could have been a bit more to the session. Might have been nice to show some decorations being painted as part of the class, even though we would just be watching.

Certainly something I will try again with different shapes and patterns.

It was a fun way to spend an evening. I'd recommend to anyone with an interest in true crime. Steve was great and I really appreciated that he spent time chatting and answering questions at the end.

Thoroughly enjoyable workshop. Becki was excellent and talked through everything in a clear way. She was delightful and I came away really pleased with what I'd achieved.

Would love to do an intermediate class in brush lettering in the future, or possibly a Christmas-themed workshop.
