The teacher was very patient and informative. Great venue… lovely spacious room. Plenty of paint etc to go round no matter how many times you ask for more

Never painted before I started doing Brush Parties but now I am hooked

I went to The Ostrich Inn in Colnbrook, which is a beautiful venue. The Inn has a lot of history to it and the room that we use is cosy and warm and has a really good feel to it. Our teacher was Kate and she was excellent. Her teaching skills are amazing and I learnt some new skills . All materials are provided and we can get topped up at any time, so never feel that we are going to run out of paint etc. I love coming to the Brush Parties because I cannot paint or draw to save my life but I always come away feeling as if I have achieved something and I notice that I am improving. The Busy Bees, I think, is my favourite so far and the venue is my favourite venue. Busy Bees looked difficult to do before I started but, the way that Kate showed us how to do it, made it completely possible.

There is always a great atmosphere with music in the background and great camaraderie.

Loved the class. Teacher was great and patient and constantly checked how we were all doing and offering help where needed. Very enjoyable. It was my 3rd time at a Brush Party and intend to make this a regular monthly outing.

The teacher was great and the assistant was also very helpful and experienced. I was a bit apprehensive to be able to paint this picture but really enjoyed and learned that anything was possible. The venue was beautifulThe Ostrich Inn, Colnbrook. We had plenty of paint provided and got regular top ups of everything. The thing I enjoy the most is the company and comaraderie and actually producing somehting I could be proud of, having never painted before. Will definitely come back for more
