My brush lettering course was fantastic. The teacher was lovely, friendly, encouraging and explained things really well. The brush pens were really lovely and I will definitely use this new craft in future card-making and tag-writing! It has also spurred me on to try some calligraphy, shaving enjoyed doing the letters especially, I think I might like calligraphy too. The session went so quickly, as I was absorbed by what I was doing and I left feeling really relaxed and calm. It is a great way to pass a few hours and I would heartily recommend it to anyone. It is so mindful, as you have to concentrate but the result is beautiful. An absolutely great way to spend an hour!

I thoroughly enjoyed my workshop this afternoon, where I was decorating a Christmas Eve box. I haven't done any painting since I was at school and am a knitter and sewist, so this was a new craft for me. It was clearly explained and demonstrated and Louise has a great manner which meant I quickly had the confidence to try the different techniques and was soon really enjoying every minute. It went so quickly! I am definitely going to do more of this, it was great fun!
