Very fun and well-run class showing us how to create the kingfisher picture from start to finish. Was also a good introduction to using acrylic paints for someone like me who had never used them before. I was surprised how flat they were on the paper and how quickly they dried. Just as well as the detail and highlights are added by subsequent layers. Really good learning.

Was a very good class and the time just flew past. It was a first for me drawing with pen and ink and it was made easy to follow and I was reasonably pleased with the end result when I finished it off today. I think I will now restart the process to address the lessons learned the first time around.

I can see further uses as well in other activities. I do a lot of copying of images using a lightpad and the pen and ink will add interest to the water colouring.

The workshop was a very good intro to the cricut app and the design space app. I think I will be able to use the cricut app OK now but i will have to see how much I can remember of the more complex design centre. At least I know how and where to start. Time to buy some of the materials shown to get started!
