I was a complete novice at any kind of painting before this class. I loved the way that the techniques were explained clearly and that time could be taken could answer questions as we went along. At the end of the class I had produced a better painting than I could have imagined at the beginning. This has inspired me to take painting up as a hobby. Thank you, Hobbycraft!

A really helpful class. Becki explained clearly how to use the brush markers to obtain thick and thin lines and how to write the upper and lower case alphabets to optimise the effects of the brush markers.

This workshop has given me the confidence to really get started with my new sewing machine. I have realised that the machine is actually easier to use than my 40 my year old one, although it looks more complicated. The Hobbycraft Artisan was knowledgeable, but went at a nice steady pace, so it was very easy to understand. It has inspired me to try the exercises on the practice templates and I am looking forward to joining more workshops when they are available.
