I took part this afternoon in an introduction to crochet class in Hobbycraft beside the Abbey centre. Our teacher Donna was very patient as some of us were slow to grasp the basics! She spent time with each of us to give us individual guidance. It was great to come away with a basket containing 2 balls of wool, a crochet hook and printed instructions so we could practise and improve at home. The time flew by!

My sisters-in-law and I had a fantastic time at the beginners' brush lettering workshop in the store at the Abbeycentre. Our tutor Jill was fabulous - she was encouraging, helpful and good fun. Our box of things we will need was terrific - I love my brush pens! I feel that we had good value for money and I can't wait to use my new skill.
