Looking for fun things to do in London? Why not get creative and make something special with this ring making template class in Greenwich.
With the help and guidance of experienced jewellery technologist, Nadia, and Stooki's creative director, Luke, you will learn step-by-step how to craft your very own template for a personalised ring.
Don't worry if this is your first time trying your hand at making your own ring templates – this fun and friendly London ring making class will guide you through a range of techniques as you gain insight into the fun and crafty world of DIY jewellery.
Enjoy adding your own unique touch to a wax ring or pendant master as you soak up the fun and creative atmosphere of this social craft workshop.
By the end of the session, you will have completed a carving of your ring design as a wax master in blue or green wax only. You can then choose to get the wax casted into a metal jewellery piece, which is a process that takes place after the session and hand-finished by Stööki at our studio. All add-on options and prices are listed below and completely optional. Add-ons can be bought when you purchase your tickets online and also at the end of the session on the day.

Prices:
  • Sterling Silver Ring (£80)
  • Sterling Silver, 22k Gold-Plated Ring (£105)
  • Solid 9k / 18k Gold (*Quote given on request. We will weigh your finished piece and calculate the cost using current gold value prices at the end of the session.)
  • Additional gemstones will be available at the workshop to use at a price of £20 per small gemstone and £30 per large gemstone.
*Please note that these prices include the wax to make a ring or pendant the maximum size of the template provided at the workshop (4mm width). If you would like to receive a bigger template, we are happy to provide you with one on the day. At the end of the session, we will weigh your finished wax creation and charge you based on the extra weight of the chosen metal, plus an additional £5 casting fee.

The nearest underground station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line. Catch bus 161, 180 or 472 from stop A to Yateley Street. The DLR station Woolwich Arsenal and National Rail station Woolwich Dockyard are also close. Walking directions from Yateley Street bus stop: Turn right once off the bus and walk to the end of Warspite Road. Then turn left into the Thames-Side Studios entrance.
