What you'll do
If you're a fan of jewellery and would love the opportunity to make something truly unique to you, or you're after a thoughtful gift for someone special, come along to this jewellery making class in London and learn to make your own ring with jewellers Katie Woodward (Crux London) and Kirstie MacLaren.In this two-hour masterclass, you will learn the process behind the ancient art of lost wax carving and work with jewellers' wax to bring your ideas to life. Your talented teachers will be on hand throughout the class to dispense their wisdom, offer tips and give a helping hand where needed.There will also be an opportunity to get creative with gemstones and add gold plating or engraving to make your ring even more special (all payable by card on the day).After you have carved your wax, your host will take it back to Workbench HQ for casting in silver and polishing to your specification, ready to be delivered back to you in 4-6 weeks.The price includes materials to make a silver ring of 5mm width.
