What you'll do
Discover how to make stunning resin art in this workshop in Swansea. You’ll learn how to mix and pour epoxy resin and create two beautiful coasters with your own personal touch. While your coasters are curing, you’ll also get to experiment with UV resin and make three pieces of jewellery to take home.
You’ll be guided through your experience by a talented teacher, who'll show you how to work with different types of resin, colours, and inclusions. You’ll feel relaxed and happy as you craft your own unique designs, and you'll be in awe of the results and possibilities of this versatile material.

Knowledge required
Suitable for beginners. No prior knowledge necessary.
What you'll get
All materials and tools to make a set of two coasters and three pieces of jewellery. You'll have a choice of materials, epoxy and UV resins to use, blanks for jewellery, all findings such as earring loops and cords so the pieces you've created can be worn home.
What to bring
Nothing but your creative selves... unless there's something personal to add such as mementos, hair, lace, or other objects.

Your teacher
I've loved being creative my whole life so, after travelling and living in Greece for 13 years, I returned to the UK to study in Swansea, achieving a BA and MA in Architectural Glass, followed by a teaching degree in Art and Design. It was such an exciting time, learning and teaching everything I'd always loved. Later, as part of my professional development in teaching, a taster session using Precious Metal Clay was tagged onto the end of a short course and that was it, I was hooked on that too. I did evening classes for three years with Gorseion College for a City and Guilds, followed by taking up traditional silversmithing classes at the same college. I've been making jewellery and doing glasswork as a business since 2013, passing on my enthusiasm in my classes.
