Immerse yourself in the world of resin art with this captivating workshop in Torquay. In this resin art class, you will learn how to work with heat-resistant epoxy resin to create stunning and unique pieces such as coasters, trays, lazy Susans, cheeseboards, and antipasti boards. Using a wonderful selection of mica powders, metallic pigments, epoxy paste, and glitters, you'll have the freedom to customise your designs with vibrant colours and shimmering effects.

No need to worry if you're new to resin art – this workshop is designed with beginners in mind. With my expert tuition, I'll guide you through the basics of using epoxy resin, including how to determine the right amount to use, how to mix it correctly, and how to create beautiful resin colours without any extra bubbles. I'll even share my techniques for painting the edges of your coasters.

Not only is epoxy resin a versatile and exciting medium to work with, but it also offers the opportunity to relieve stress, cultivate resilience, and enhance your overall well-being through creative expression. Plus, the resin used in this workshop is low odour, non-toxic, and free from dangerous solvents, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

All my life I've been in the fashion industry and I had the privilege to work with the world's top designers including the likes of Versace, Dior, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Gianfranco Ferre and Valentino etc.
I always had an interest in art but never pursued it until one morning I woke up and told my husband that I was going to buy some materials to start painting and resin art and since then I have never stopped.
I am a self-taught abstract artist and I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school so I went on to study through practical experience learning through trial and error and self learning.
The creative process for me is one that is both automatic and emotional. The majority of my work is inspired by the music I listen to, the beat, the lyrics, the emotions I feel from the music I am listening to whilst I am creating.
For me creating my art is like being on a roller coaster; ups and downs, highs and lows, twists and turns.
Resin art or painting for me like life, is constant movement, constant change. The creation process is cathartic, allowing my emotions to spill out onto my work as a release.
