What you'll do
Whether you're looking for birthday party ideas or fun team building activities, why not gather a gang and learn how to paint pottery at this relaxing craft class in London?
At this ceramic painting class, you will have your very own artwork glazed and fired so it lasts forever! Choose from cups, mugs and bowls to get creative on and unleash your inner artist on.
Using underglaze paint, you can create your own unique design. New to pottery painting? Don't worry, you'll have expert tutors on hand to provide tips, tricks and even inspiration for your designs so that you can create your ideal ceramic piece.
Once you’ve finished painting your pottery, it will then be taken away to be glazed and fired in the kiln – after that, it is completely usable and can be put in the dishwasher and used every day.
This private pottery class can be tailored to your needs, so if you have a theme you would like to follow or a different ceramic – such as flowerpots, travel mugs, large plates etc. – a custom package can be created for you and your group!
Walk away at the end of this mindful pottery painting session feeling relaxed and refreshed, with some newfound ceramic painting skills under your belt.
Please note:
- Please allow 72 hours for us to glaze and fire your ceramics. During busy periods this can take longer. If you need something on a shorter deadline, let us know before you start painting and we will do our best to get it fired in time for you.
- If booked at the café we can also supply catering for your party from afternoon teas to savoury buffets.

Creative Biscuit is a ceramics café in east London run by Karen and Tim. For over a decade we have been offering drop-in ceramic painting, parties, workshops, pop-ups and lots more, with the ethos that art is for everyone.
The café is open 7 days a week for painting and parties for all ages. From baby handprints and footprints to adult late-night painting evenings. It’s the perfect creative activity – whatever age you are – to slap on some paint, have some fun and make memories.
We have worked with The Barbican, Create London, ASOS, Lloyds Bank, plus numerous small businesses, charities and schools to provide off-premises workshops to suit their needs and varying budgets.
