Private Group Screenprinting Workshop

We've adapted our in-house workshops to accommodate family groups and special occasions. Book a private workshop and discover the joy of screen printing with your loved ones! Work from one of our existing themes or make the class even more special by choosing our bespoke photo option where you can work from your own image - think holiday snaps, graduation photos, birthday pics, festival moments, favourite selfie or group shot.

Learn the process of mono-screen printing with Underway Studio and create your own three-colour print! In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of screen printing along with a short history of this printing method. Your talented tutors will show you how to use both paper and photographic stencils to make a unique screen print inspired by a variety of themes including iconic London architecture or the natural world. Alternatively, we can make the class extra special by tailoring the theme to your group. Choose the bespoke photo option to send us a photograph of a favourite memory before the class. Either way, you will walk away from the session with your very own, unique piece of art!

No worries if you're new to the world of art—this class is designed for beginners, and no previous artistic experience is required. Your teacher will provide all the necessary materials, along with a selection of refreshments, including tea and biscuits. Opt to add on a box of beer or bottle of fizz for your group to make the class extra special. If you fancy bringing additional snacks or drinks, feel free to do so!

Located in vibrant Brixton, the studio is just a short stroll from the tube station, making it easily accessible. While you're there, why not extend your experience? Brixton offers a plethora of lively restaurants, bars, cafes, and pubs, allowing you to turn your workshop into a delightful day out. This workshop is not suitable for children under the age of 7. Please be aware that scissors will be used during the workshop. Parents/carers will need to assist their children when needed.

Our classes are beginner-friendly, with no artistic experience required.
  All materials and tools needed to create a screen-printed artwork to take home with you will be provided.
  We provide aprons, please bear in mind that this workshop can get a little inky, so don't wear your best clothes! Want to use your own special photo in the workshop? Select the Bespoke Photo option and submit a high-quality image 7 days prior to the workshop date. This will be prepared in advance and ready for you to use. Max 2 photos per booking.
