4 x 3 hours Class size 1 to 4     label £245

If you've ever fancied yourself a bit of a Picasso or just want a new way to express yourself creatively, this two-day printmaking course might be just what you've been looking for. Exploring the versatility of etching using the sugar lift process, you'll create some striking A5 sized prints that you can use to decorate your space or give as one-of-a-kind gifts.

Sugar lift is an etching technique that gives a more painterly result than other types of etching, making it perfect for flowing landscapes or abstract forms. Under the guidance of a printing expert, you'll learn to control the depth of your etching marks to create different textures, as well as combining with other printing techniques to achieve a variety of effects to bring out the best in your work.

Don't worry even if this is your first foray into art since school, as your friendly host will be on hand to help you with all aspects of the printing process. Whether you're coming along solo or bringing a couple of pals, you'll love the creative freedom and tactility of printmaking!
