Enjoy an expert introduction to the world of printmaking.

6 hours Class size 1 to 2 guests       £137 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

This workshop covers all the essentials of screen-print editioning! We’ll look at carefully considering how to make informed decisions with our basic screen-printing equipment to yield the greatest results.
We know that it can be such an investment of resources to make and sell prints. So, we've teamed up with screen-printing specialist Rory Strudwick to share ways of getting the most out of studio time.
This beginner's/refresher workshop takes place during the day, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Tutor: Giorgia Boller - is a visual artist who's practice mainly revolves around screen printing and collage. After having attained a masters degree in printmaking, spreading the joys of screen printing to anyone who wants to learn the process!
Topics covered:
  • Mixing colours
  • Choosing inks
  • Table set-up
  • Tools and specialist equipment
  • Signing/numbering/extra copies
This workshop is designed for absolute beginners or those needing a refresher. If you’re curious about screen-printing, this is for you. Expect a fun filled, hands-on day, with the satisfaction of creating without computers!
You’ll be guided through crafting designs from hand-cut stencils, drawing or mark-making to preparing screens and printing with water based inks, producing your very own limited edition.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
