In our engaging pottery wheel throwing class, you will uncover the art of crafting pottery from scratch. Delve into the fascinating world of clay as you learn how to master basic techniques and mould your very own pieces of pottery to cherish.
*At the end of the class you will have two options: simply enjoy the making experience and we will recycle all the pots at the end.
Or, if you want to keep any of your pots, have them professionally fired, glazed for just £8 per piece*
Don't worry if you're new to this – our small classes ensure a supportive environment where you can flourish at your own pace. Our expert guidance and personalised attention will help you feel at ease and confident in exploring your creativity.
  • Enjoy a hands-on experience with max of 6 students per class, allowing for a tailored learning journey.
  • Immerse yourself for 1.5 hours in the art of wheel throwing, where all materials including clay and tools are provided.
  • Learn how to throw on the wheel and transform a lump of clay into a unique work of art under the guidance of our experienced teacher.

Perfect if you just want to try what it's like to make on potters wheel, have fun and play and don't want to keep your pots. This is our sustainable and environmentally friendly option, where we recycle your pots at the end of the class.
£55 + £8 per pot - Making + Glazed and Fired pots (Weekdays)
£60 + £8 per pot - Making +Glazed and Fired pots (Weekends)
At the end of the class you will choose your favourite pots. We will then trim them, glaze them and fire them for you with our lovely satin white, food safe glaze. Your pot will be ready for collection 4 weeks after the class.

What should I wear to class?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. We provide aprons, but you may want to bring your own if you prefer.
What if I have long nails/long hair?
We recommend cutting your nails short before the class. If you have long hair, please bring something to tie your hair back.
