Simple instructions, great demonstrations and extremely patient /helpful. Although group size was supposed to be large only 4 persons showed up and were able to have more focused time and engagement. First time doing wheel throwing and would highly recommend for anyone to give it a try. Did the wheel throwing and hand buidling. Will be coming back to paint the items post bisque firing.

The manual building was good although I liked more the wheel. Thanks Jess

  • 5/5 from Sagar Gurung, attended Jun 2026: This pottery class was great, first hour we just free hand on clay molds. Then, we moved to the wheel in the second hour which was good fun. It would have been better to do more things on the wheel with the clay but, a good beginner course.

  • 5/5 from Jane Johnson, attended Jan 2026: Loved this activity, great place with a fantastic teacher, so sweet and welcoming, really enjoyable, highly recommend, I do think that maby the glazing should be included in the price, but enjoyed just the same!

  • 5/5 from Sean Gooch, attended Jan 2026: Emily was so friendly and explained and demonstrated things really well. She was fine with going over thing again when needed and helped get things back on track when my creation went a bit ‘pear shaped’! It was great fun for our whole family, including our 10 year old son. Would 100% recommend this experience for anyone who’s always wondered about trying out being a potter!
  • 5/5 from Alessandro Vaccaro, attended Jan 2026: The teacher was very helpful and overall it was a fun experience! Definitely recommend it!
  • 1/5 from Beth Atkins, attended Jan 2026: Very disappointed in the customer service with the venue. I cut my finger open on a new kitchen knife the day of my taster session so had to get in touch last minute to rearrange. We must have called 2 numbers around 5 times each, send Instagram messages, emails and used their contact form. Nobody got back in touch and it had been almost a week now. This was a birthday gift and now my friends have lost their money, very disappointing.
  • 5/5 from Mosh Rahman, attended Nov 2025: I had a pottery class on 18/11 and it was genuinely such a great experience. The session itself was really fun, but what made it stand out was the teacher, Emily. She was super attentive, really informative, and you could tell she knew exactly how to guide everyone at their own pace. She also has such a calming aura – it made the whole class feel relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.
  • 5/5 from Swakara Atwell-Bennett, attended Oct 2025: It was great fun, easy to follow along and you get to try and make multiple pots on the wheel plus an object by hand so you get a chance to try both styles. The teacher was lovely, super helpful, friendly and made the class really fun! I'd definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Yaren Cengiz, attended Oct 2025: really enjoyed the pottery class! The instructor was friendly and patient, explaining each step clearly and offering great guidance throughout. The studio was well-equipped and welcoming, and I loved being able to create my own piece to take home. It was a relaxing, creative experience — perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to try something new. I’d definitely recommend this class to others!

And nice that we did both pottery throwing and working at the wheel and in a seperate session on the night learnt about hand formed pottery techniques. End of night - two items made!
