Hosted by an experienced photographer, you'll enjoy a combination of hands-on practical exercises and classroom-based theory learning, giving you a fantastic overview of the subtleties of photographic portraiture. You'll pick up a host of skills on everything from lighting to composition to how to get the most out of your personal equipment.
During the class you'll learn:
- Introduction to portrait styles and types.
- Working with natural light, hard and soft light.
- Storytelling with portraits.
- Portrait composition.
- Capturing moving subjects and candid shots.
- Working with studio lighting and equipment.
Each class is kept small so everyone will have plenty of one-on-one time with the tutor, giving you the ideal opportunity to ask any questions and refine your techniques even further. No matter your skill level, you'll leave this one-day class inspired, creatively refreshed and ready to get snapping some impressive portraits.
