What a fantastic evening. The venue was super and the staff and teacher were amazing. The teacher offered advice, and encouragement all evening. Making the experience enjoyable from start to finish.

This was an absolutely fantastic class for Mother’s Day. The teachers were nothing but amazing and helped myself and my mum with any questions we had. We came away with some lovely memories and a canvas to remember them by, thank you to the teachers because you really made my mums day. Would 100% recommend this class to anyone of any ability, we will be returning without a doubt

Very friendly staff. Very clear instructions and helped two people who haven’t painted since school two very nice paintings! They also allow you to try anything different. 100% recommend 10/10

Great experience! Totally recommend for your Friday night activities. The class I took was at a cozy cafe near canal in Birmingham and the environment and atmosphere are great.

Purchased for a friend's birthday and was a little nervous as I couldn't paint. How wrong I was A brilliant experience and great the.teacher takes us through stages.

We booked as a group for a special birthday treat. We all really enjoyed the session.

I would recommend this activity! We had a great time doing something we usually wouldn't & pushed our creative boundaries. The teachers were excellent - supportive and humourous and the step by step guide was a really great way to learn (although at times moved quite quickly). All the materials provided were sufficient and the atmosphere friendly. The art bar had a really welcoming feel.
One criticism would be the fact that we only got one glass of Prosecco in the interval - I would have expected at least 2 when calling it a "Paint and Sip" experience - one before we start and one at the interval. That being said the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced (although would not recommend the cocktails, they were average at best).
Overall a very memorable experience - we had a great time!

Everything was great! The teacher, the venue, the facilitator, the materials, everything! It’s good therapy for us adults really. They even catered my request of us 6 people in one table. We will definitely try this again!

This was a great experience. The teacher was knowledgeable and provided good advice. The colours were bright and beautiful and there was plenty extra if needed. The venue was lovely. It was wonderful learning about Van Gogh's technique.

Lovely eve. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Easy to follow painting and plenty of artistic license to get creative. Great choices at the bar too.

We went as a family and had a great time, unleashing our artistic talentsvarying degrees of aptitude haha. The glass of Prosecco at the break was nice and a welcome touch. The teacher was very instructive and encouraging. We would love to do another event.

it's a very good class to experience painting the teacher is nice and patient, guide us step by step so it's definitely fine if you know nothing about painting. The vibe is awesome, paint music and sip All the tools are provided and you can take your piece home, which will be a good decoration to home. The only problem is the class is too short! I don't really have time to add many details X

Extremely nice teachers who directed us through the whole process, paints, brushes, canvas and apron was provided, had a great time at seven brothers and a good laugh about the paintings. Really enjoyed, will deffo do it again.

Really fun evening! Emily was a great teacher - so welcoming and approachable. She made the painting easy to follow and enjoyable Excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend! The venue was great too as it wasn’t too busy!

What was the teacher like?
The teacher was fantastic! She encouraged us to use our own imagination and create our interpretation! She did a fantastic job herself!
How was the venue (if applicable)?
The venue was lovely, free glass of Prosecco in the price! Also, serve other drinks there too using menus on the table! The light was a little flickery however it was a storm on the day I went!
If materials were provided, did you like them?
Yes, you get 3 paintbrushes and acrylic paint you’ll need, you will get more paint if needed.
Was the experience good value for money?
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as I came solo but everyone was friendly and I cannot remember the last time I picked up a paintbrush so was fun to dabble in

I received this class as a birthdate present. When I asked about it I had V&A venue in mind. When I came to the Art Cafe and we started to paint, I realised that it would be such a pressure to paint in public. Art cafe was spacious, clean and well lit. Our teacher was fun and gave clear instructions step by step. The possibility of get some drinks and a little snack was very handy. It was a very pleasant evening. Money well spent.

Fabulous 2 hours with ‘Willand’ guiding a bunch of artistically-challenged girls through Van Gogh’s starry night. Lovely venue, lovely facilities, good light in the ‘events room’. We all, with good guidance, produced a masterpiece whilst having lots of fun… some of us hadn’t painted since primary school and now are talking about taking up painting classes! Excellent activity- I’d booked this for my hen do activity… bridesmaids in their 20s and me and friends in our 50s! Thank you for a lovely afternoon! :)

The class was really fun, cool venue. The bar was a little pricey. The teacher was good although it was difficult to hear her even with a mic on and it was difficult to see what she was doing. The event was well organised and it was easy to get all the materials you needed. It was well-paced allowing you to finish with a complete painting.

This was my third time at a Pop Up Paining workshop. I went with a few friends. It’s always fun, you learn painting technics, listen to nice music and there’s no pressure if you don’t have any painting experience. You can just go wild and be creative.
It’s a great way to spend an afternoon and experience with a potential new hobby.

This is my second time coming and I’ll definitely come again. There’s always a great vibe, feel-good music and the staff/teachers are super friendly and helpful. It’s so fun that the two hours fly by so fast.

It was my first time painting with acrylic. The venue was great the staff was very friendly ,the teacher was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was fun! I kind of like what I painted . Definitely will return for another class.

This was my first time painting since primary school probably so I came without any prior experience.
First of all, the place itself is absolutely lovey. There’s a bar, good music and clean toilets as well.
Second, the class was really fun, the staff was very friendly. The teacher was very patient, helping and encouraging.
Had a great time and will definitely be coming back again.

David and I really enjoyed the class. Relaxing and also love the idea that David could celebrate his birthday! We love that we could take our paintings home. The teachers and everyone helping out are great. The service is really top notch! Thank you guys so much.
