We'll begin with a demo on using the pointed nib, followed by warm-up exercises to teach you letterforms and joining letters.Immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of our workshop, where time slows down and you can fully engage in the meditative process of dipping your nib into ink and gliding it across the page. Focus on the intricate details of each stroke, letting your worries dissolve with each graceful curve you create.You will discover how to work in shimmering metallic inks, adding a new dimension to your calligraphy. Guided by the instructor's expertise, you experiment with blending vibrant hues, creating a symphony of colours that dance across the paper like a kaleidoscope.As the evening progresses, your confidence grows, and you'll envisage how you can incorporate these techniques into your creative endeavours. Calligraphy is perfect for crafting bespoke greeting cards, elegant invitations, or stunning artwork to adorn your home. Our aim is that this evening ignites a passion for calligraphy that will continue to inspire you for years to comeThis workshop is a live stream via Zoom, which means that you can ask questions and receive direct help with your work from our experienced tutor. An online workshop is a wonderful way to learn calligraphy, as you are able to watch your tutor demonstrate up close on your screen so that every letter stroke and movement of the pen and hand is magnified and easy to follow. Your Zoom invite will come with your booking email confirmation, and we'll send it to you again 3 days before your workshop in your reminder email.
