What you'll do
A fantastic school holiday activity for children!
Children will learn the basics of podcasting in this live streaming class with Rebel Stepz! This class is perfect if your little ones want to up-skill and try something new.
If your kids ever wondered how to create a podcast but have absolutely no idea how, we're here to help them! Podcasting can be a great way for kids to develop writing, reading, and speaking and IT skills whilst having fun.
During this online podcasting class, we will be taking the group through the following steps:
- Show format - How to write a script
- How to record themselves and others
- How to use their computers and a free sound editing program
- Resourcing
- Recording and editing
- Launching
This workshop will have interactive elements as we'll get everyone playing around checking out resources and trialling their skills with an editing program.

Every workshop we hold is an opportunity for everyone to discover a facet of the arts, whether that be through painting, singing, dancing, craftwork, film, acting or music.
Each session is also a chance to support local artists, dancers, musicians, and all the other artistic professionals we are lucky enough to have right here in Melbourne and worldwide.
