arrow_right_alt arrow_downward- The studio is a small and intimate space, intentionally curated to create a welcoming and absolute judgement-free atmosphere. This place is ideal for folks who enjoy arts and crafts but prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere. We focus on the process more than the final result, working towards, together, the enjoyment of MAKING.
- Booking early is highly advised, the studio has a capacity of 6 people max.
- Closer to the date of your workshop, you will get an email with instructions on how to get here, as it can be a bit tricky to find and you can’t see us from the outside. Check your spam folder!

Recent reviews of Paper Stars Garland Making Workshop
- 5/5 from Caroline, attended Dec 2025: Super friendly teacher - loads of designs to choose from - very happy with my stars. Definitely recommend.
- 5/5 from Sarah Hocking, attended Dec 2025: Mina was the perfect teacher. She was so friendly and patient - taking the time to remind us how to do it when we forgot, and helping us make extra stars for our garland at the end when we wanted a few more. The setting was so lovely and relaxing - her studio is a really cosy room and we had a nice cup of tea while we crafted. The craft itself was also really fun. It was the perfect balance of simple enough for everyone to do, but a really beautiful result. Mina had SO many different types of paper that we could use which made it feel really personal and relaxed (I’ve been to other craft classes where it’s a bit more restricted in terms of materials, so this was very refreshing)
- 5/5 from Caroline Barton, attended Nov 2025: Mina was fantastic and she created a very relaxed environment. I’m super excited to put up the star garland and make our new flat feel a little more Christmassy.
Your teacher
I'm Mina, and I run Garanto Art Club to guide people like you to (re) connect with their creative side. I genuinely believe that everyone is creative, but more often than not, that muscle doesn't get trained as often or properly, and tends to be completely forgotten. With a wide range of workshops around London, Garanto Art Club aims to build a creative community for people to keep coming back to, where we will explore your unique creative voice and boost your self-esteem. Mina (AKA Guillermina F) is an abstract artist from Argentina who has lived in London for the last 6 years. Her production is made mainly through experimental printmaking and mixed media. She has been in the educational arena for over 10 years at different levels, delivering classes in University, hosting Workshops and running several artistic studios. She has ran creative sessions for children, teenagers and adults alike, tailoring each one to meet particular needs, create a fun environment and teaching new techniques.
