Her instructions were really clear, and she made sure everyone could follow along at their own pace. Whenever my mum got ahead while I was still working on a step, she would thoughtfully check whether I needed her to repeat anything, which I really appreciated. The final result was so, so much better than anything I had imagined we’d be able to create at the beginning! The other pieces she had displayed around her studio were absolutely breathtaking too. You could really see how much skill and attention to detail went into every creation. And the biscuits were very yummy too! I would absolutely recommend this class! From Mum: What I found particularly inspiring was the incredible care, dedication, and thought that goes into her craft. She puts so much effort into making her flowers as realistic as possible. For example, she had an entire book dedicated to real-life peonies, which she had studied in depth to understand their intricate details. It was fascinating to see how much experimentation goes into her work, how she continually explores different techniques and approaches, and, most importantly, how she never stops learning. That curiosity, passion, and dedication to perfecting her craft were genuinely inspiring. We will definitely be back for another lesson! It was such a wonderful way to spend quality time together as a family, learning something new, being creative, and enjoying a few precious hours completely away from our phones. As a parent, I particularly appreciated how engaging and inclusive the whole experience was. It’s not always easy to find an activity that adults and teenagers can genuinely enjoy together, but this was one of those rare experiences where everyone was completely absorbed, having fun, and feeling a real sense of achievement. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable way to bond with their teenage children. Thank you so much for such a fun, inspiring, educational, and genuinely special experience. We left feeling incredibly proud of what we’d created, with lovely memories to treasure and a newfound appreciation for the artistry involved. Couldn’t recommend this class highly enough!

She created a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout. We were total beginners to the technique but were thrilled with our flowers!
