What you'll do
Let your mind clear of the daily grind and life's troubles with two hours of making collages.
You will rummage amongst a pile of decorative papers, magazines, pens, and other materials to your hearts' content to create fun images, greeting cards, and mood boards. There will be plenty available so that you can create some fun artwork and find your own style.
You will be guided through various techniques, including how to use sections of larger images to create something completely different, finding patterns and shapes, and using them in ways that you won't have thought of to create fun pieces of artwork.
You will take home your own set of collages. There will be plenty of hot drinks and some light nibbles available, and you are also very welcome to bring your own bottle of wine or beer to sip as you go.
There is the opportunity to purchase a journal/book on the day at the workshop. Just let me know in advance if you are interested and I will make sure I obtain some journals for you to choose from if you wish to buy.

With over 18 years professional experience in the ceramics industry, along with teaching art and pottery, I am a knowledgeable, approachable and kind teacher.
Classes are aimed at learning at the very least, the basic skills and to create something lovely in class. They are also geared towards being mindful, calming spaces where you can come and enjoy some time for yourself. There will be plenty of cups of tea and nice nibbles.
