Lucy was perfect in keeping everyone on track, helpful and gave us lots of praise and encouragement. I expect we’ll book again as we all enjoyed it so much.
• 5/5 from Gaynor Evans, attended Aug 2026: Far better class as we managed to get a seat w to the front, Lots of the other participants were struggling to see though and had to repeatedly get up and go to the front of the room to see the demonstration more clearly, The tutor (Lucy) did her utmost to help with this by taking the canvas to the participants to show them what they needed to do. It is just the poor layout if the room and on no way the fault of the tutor. Still a thoroughly enjoyable class though.

• 2/5 from Gaynor Evans, attended May 2026: Disappointed with this class - my sixth one. We normally sit at the front area but were sat at the back this time. With the layout of the room - bench style, it was impossible to see either the sample painting or the artist working on the blank canvas. So really it was a waste of money as we had to just more or less guess what we were doing. Maybe you should set up a screen higher up and project what the teacher is doing so everyone can ser what they are supposed to do.

This is by far the best painting class we’ve been to, the standard of products and materials provided were above and beyond. Everyone was really relaxed, friendly and involved. We have already booked our next class with you!

Please don’t be put off by thinking you can’t paint. You will be more than happy with your results. Already booked my next class.

Had a great evening out with my daughter in law, enjoyed paining together and had a good laugh. Group seemed too big and made the session feel a bit chaotic and rushed. Our artist and assistant were great and attentive but getting around the group with comments/extra supplies took a long time because of the group size. Lot 11 was a better venue but wouldn’t be as profitable for Paint Republic as smaller.

We got seated at the start and the artist leading the session personally chatted to all guests which made us feel welcome. It had a very relaxed feel, no pressure about how “good” the paintings were. Everyone was celebrated. There were some great deals when purchasing food and drinks. We will definitely be going back to do another class. We really enjoyed it! :)

The venue was good, the fact that it was not a big venue make feel comfortable. I am planning to go to the next one at Chester and hope not to feel too scare by numbers! The whole experience was fun in a relaxing non judgemental atmosphere.

I found myself completely focussed and totally relaxed. If you’re looking for a night where you catch up with friends, go for a drink first. The painting is fun and something different but chatting you won’t be doing. I absolutely recommend and can’t wait to do it again x

Fantastic fun for everyone and Nicola was a great teacher, broke everything down into small segments. Neither of us have painted before, apart from the odd bannister. Lot 11 was a nice location as well, staff were brilliant and food and drinks very reasonable. Definitely would do this again.

The venue worked well, the teacher/s were brilliant, friendly, supportive and great fun throughout offering encouragement and suggestions. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more.

As always the tutors were fun, friendly and helpful. Staff at the venue were fabulous from the moment we walked in until we left. Food was really good too. Already looking forward to booking another one. Great to have something a bit different to do in Wrexham in the evening :-)

Lindsey talked us through each step whilst painting a copy herself. So easy to follow, and I haven't painted in over 40 years. Everyone had a different style, and every one was brilliant. Grab some friends and have a go. I highly recommend it. Thanks to Lot 11 for their service tonight.
