  • 5/5 from Sharon Whittaker, attended Oct 2024: What a completely different and fun night. I have not held a paintbrush in 40+ years so was not expecting much but you are talked through it stroke by stroke with lots of laughs. Highly recommend this event
  • 5/5 from Tina Mackie, attended Sep 2024: What a fantastic evening, the venue was great, the teacher was excellent, she took her time to explain everything in detail. The best one I’ve been too, had so much fun can’t wait to do the next one!
  • 5/5 from Helen Francis, attended Aug 2024: I’ve fancied attending a class for a long time and the event at the Cock and Rabbit suited me perfectly. Katie was an excellent host. Instructions were straightforward. The pace suited me fine. The materials provided were of good quality. It was a very enjoyable evening. I would recommend this as a fun evening completing a crafty project as well as chatting and being sociable.
  • 5/5 from Debra Main, attended Aug 2024: Loved it. Lots of fun. Will definitely do again. Thank you. A great night with my daughter and friend learning something new too. Produced something much better than I ever thought I could.

  • 5/5 from Linda Curran, attended Aug 2024: I haven't lifted a paint brush in 40 years!! The teacher was very good and I will definitely go to another party. The venue was great, the only thing about the venue was how dark it was when leaving. There was no light at all. A security light that went on when you walk past would be good.
  • 5/5 from Jean Nunn, attended Aug 2024: Very enjoyable, thank you. Katie was a great tutor- kind and flexible if we wish to try different things, eg, colour-mixing. The description of handling acrylics and how to get the paint to flow was most helpful. Great venue at the Cock and Rabbit….more space this time, easier to get drinks, a venue with more character and better all around. Mind you, parking was difficult but I’m happy to walk. staff were very welcoming and helpful all evening. The place had a nice cosy feel. Last time in High Wycombe, for the Summer Love evening, it was really too crowded. Great this time to see other examples of the bluebell woods scene painted by other tutors….very helpful. Our tutor worked hard to help us all progress in a timely fashion whilst being encouraging - an incredible feat in itself. I was learning more about putting in shadows in various ways, as well as mixing the paint. Using a limited palate is great to make us learn about paints. I also love just putting the paint on directly to the canvas and seeing it all mix on canvas… then.adding in highlights to get different effects. I did a lot of art years ago but never really had the courage or learned to use the free-form techniques that we use to create the effects of trees, flowers, etc. it so encouraging to start to do this. Thank you Katie and team.
  • 5/5 from Clare, attended Jun 2024: Took my mum as a treat. Really liked our teacher, fun and engaging. The pub was lovely, people were friendly. Yes paints and canvas were provided. We painted a highland cow with Daisies Learnt a few ways to use a paintbrush for different effects. I think the class was good value for money. I enjoyed spending time with my mum doing something a bit different and creative. Thanks Clare
