One-to-one Cricut Workshop

Join us in store and talk to a craft expert for tips and advice on your Cricut machine or project!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1       £28

Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

Recent reviews of One-to-one Cricut Workshop

  • 5/5 from Nieve Donaldson, attended Aug 2026: Emma was patient and kind, helping us get started with a cricut. The 1:1 session was tailored to what we wanted to learn and Emma was able to answer all the questions that we had. Highly recommended. Thank you Emma
  • 5/5 from Barbara Patterson, attended Sep 2025: Want my review on messenger! It was really great. Faye is so knowledgeable. It asked me about my gift card? Didn’t get one? Can’t wait to get started Thank you
  • 4/5 from Barbara, attended Oct 2024: The teacher taught me what I needed to know and explained the function terms on the Cricut Design Space that I wasn't sure of in an easy to understand way. The venue Bridgemere was ok, might be better in a more private area not on the shop floor, but the wi-fi is really bad and I was unable to see the finished and cut items due to very, very slow download speeds. As I only use a desktop pc or laptop for Design Space and the class was given using a tablet it would be useful if there was an option to have a class with a choice of being shown on either tablet or laptop.
  • 5/5 from Tracey Downing, attended Aug 2024: Thank you so much Faye, you were so informative I walked in not knowing anything and i came away feeling confident and ready to start on my new hobby.
  • 5/5 from Kay Harrop, attended Feb 2023: Hayley was very knowledgeable. Workshop was interesting and appropriate to my requests. Answered all my questions and gave me recommendations which were not pushy regarding purchasing.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Topping, attended Dec 2022: It was good that it was one to one so totally catered to my needs. The teacher was friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t mind my constant questions!
  • 5/5 from Kara Lawrence, attended Nov 2022: Hayley was very informative and I got everything I needed from the workshop. Excellent as usual

  • 5/5 from Denise McGowan, attended Mar 2022: I had a fabulous 1:1 session with Tom at Hobbycraft Bridgemere. Totally tailored to what I needed. Loved that we used a design idea that I am currently working on and I can now make the most of designing with and for my machine.
  • 5/5 from Jo Costa, attended Mar 2022: Excellent! The Cricut workshop was very informative, it covered everything I needed to know clearly & patiently! Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Martyn Rigby, attended Feb 2022: Excellent one to one lesson. Listened to my particular needs and what I required guidance with and explained in a brilliant way how to get the results I wanted
  • 5/5 from Gill.trevis, attended Jan 2022: Hayley was very knowledgeable and showed me how to do the things I wanted to do, would book her again. Customer service however were not so organised with change of time and communication, might be best if they spoke with tutors before liaising with customer.
  • 5/5 from Lana Bloor, attended Dec 2021: Hi Tom was teaching, he was excellent. Very informative new his subject and explained it really well. I learnt all about the cricut machine and design space and he went through which machine he thought would suit what I want to use it for. Would recommend
  • 4/5 from Alexandra Bowers, attended Oct 2021: Teacher was first class. Very pleasant and described the Cricut machine very well. She showed me how machine worked with different materials. I do card making but this machine could be so handy for other projects as well. The value was great, in a room on our own and warm. I had no idea what this machine would do but I gained confidence through Hayley putting me at ease. Very good teacher
  • 5/5 from Barbara Harley, attended Aug 2021: This was a very good one to one workshop which I really enjoyed. The instructor showed me how to use my Cricut Maker and explained everything in an easy to understand way. He was very knowledgeable on the machine and answered all the questions I asked. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who is unsure how to use their new Cricut machine.
  • 5/5 from Evie Addy-Green, attended Aug 2021: A lovely welcome from the Tutor, made my daughter (14) feel at ease, and as I couldn’t book myself in on the same time workshop Tom allowed me to join in. Functional room used for the session with everything at hand. The incredibly knowledgeable Tom took us through every element of getting started with the new Birthday present Cricut Explore Air 2 and beyond. The 1-2 session with the extremely competent Tom has left us both confident in our knowledge of the amazing Air 2 and can’t wait to get using it to its full potential. Recommendations from Tom were very valuable and we made purchases after the session in the store to help us with our projects going forward. We would both fully recommend these workshops for Cricut enthusiasts of any age and level, to either start your Cricut journey or embellish your abilities further, they are such good value for money for the level of training.
