  • 5/5 from Graham Elliott, attended Jul 2023: Great course, teacher and location which is near the train station and plenty of places to eat for lunch. Location had full facilities with free tea & coffee throughout the day, the course room was the perfect size for our group of 3 people. I learned a lot from the course especially about communication with the model you are photographing in such an intimate manner, we went through all aspect including several lighting techniques to achieve the effects that we wanted. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would not hesitate to recommend and or attend future courses. I was so pleased with the images that I took and it has given me the confidence to try out this genre in real life.
  • 5/5 from Steve Neal, attended Oct 2022: A great day! The teacher managed a superb balance of informality with structured sessions making it easy to take on board. Being guided through the effects of moving and modifying the light(s) was a real help as was the difference in using strobes and the available window light. The model was brilliant, and *very* patient whilst I learnt the importance of rapport/dialogue (should be obvious really but with my head full of camera settings and lighting easy to forget!). Plenty of practice to be done, and I now feel more confident to work with studio lighting.
