What you'll do
Pick up a fun and satisfying textile art in this needle felting workshop, where you will be working with wool to create swallows to hang on ribbons.
Whether you're a bird buff or just a lover of creative activities, this craft class will guide you through felting techniques to create a gorgeous wooly creation that you can hang on a wall or give to a friend as a handmade gift.
You'll be learning how to felt alongside Liberty, a friendly and masterful felter who has nine years of experience to share with you. All the needle felting supplies are provided, and Liberty will take you through some demonstrations as she makes a swallow alongside you.
you'll be introduced to different wools and their textures, as well as being taught how to use them for different effects.
There is plenty of time for you to ask questions, and class sizes are kept small so you can get personal feedback in a supportive environment. It's a great way for beginners to learn to felt and those with more experience to have fun making a beautiful decoration alongside pals and like-minded crafters.

Nestled in Somerset, England - at the centre of the Levels - lies Langport along the River Parrett. Halfway up the High Street you will find us, Goodswen & Belle.
We began as a small felting studio working from a village a few miles away, then after a few years, we took the jump to open our own studio, gallery and shop.
Our wish is to provide an outlet for local artists and creative people which is why we have an eclectic selection from soft furnishings to children's books as well as having the open felting studio where I work so customers can see the process, ask questions and maybe even be inspired to have a go at a workshop either in the shop or online.
