Learn how to dye at home with natural colour. This 4-week journey provides a shared space to learn the basic steps of natural dyeing, so you can do it at home in your kitchen.
Practice extracting colour from plants, as well as key principles such as scouring and mordanting to give you stronger, longer-lasting colour.
Go home with the confidence to try natural dyeing at home using available plant dyes and products found in your kitchen!
  • Week 1 – Monday 6th July 2026 – Preparing your fibre & learning the basics
  • Week 2 – Monday 13th July 2026 – Foraging walk & extracting dye from plants using various methods
  • Week 3 – Monday 20th July 2026 – Dyeing your fibre & revealing the colour
  • Week 4 – Monday 27th July 2026 – Extending the colour possibilities using household products
