Growing up in Hong Kong, they cherished mochi-making during special occasions like New Year and birthdays. More than just a treat, mochi symbolized good luck, joy, and togetherness. After moving to the UK, they missed the comfort of authentic mochi and saw a lack of variety in local offerings. Determined to share the flavors they grew up with, they founded MOCHI KEMONO—blending tradition with innovation to bring people together through every bite.

Today, we offer authentic Japanese mochi through online sales, private and commercial events, and immersive workshops where people can experience the joy of making traditional mochi themselves.
