Mixed Media Floral Art Class with Lunch

Come and join our monthly Saturday sessions for a full day dedicated to floral creativity. We begin this wonderful workshop with gentle drawing activities to warm up, giving you a chance to settle in and get comfortable. Following this, we’ll explore experimental flower-based printmaking – it’s a fantastic activity to learn how to create unique patterns and textures using nature's own designs.After a break for a delicious homemade vegetarian lunch, thoughtfully prepared by me (I’m a very good cook, so you can expect something nourishing!), we’ll move into the afternoon session. Here, we'll concentrate on painting floral still lifes. You’ll have the opportunity to work with both watercolours and acrylics, discovering different techniques to capture the beauty of blooms on paper or canvas. We finish the day with tea, biscuits, and a relaxed time to reflect on your work and share your experiences.All materials are provided, so you don't need to bring anything apart from your love for art and flowers. No prior experience is needed at all; I'm an experienced secondary art teacher and former still life stylist with a deep passion for flowers and art, and I love creating relaxed, welcoming spaces where people can slow down and explore their creativity. My background in styling has given me a keen eye for composition, colour, and detail, which I bring into every workshop.
