Media-Collage Workshop: Your Inner Story

Reflect your inner story with vintage papers at this media collage workshop in London.

3 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests       £45 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

You are invited to a unique media-collage workshop in London where you will learn how to build stories using pages from old books, yellowed letters, retro magazines, and timeworn paper fragments.
This session is about more than just technique; it's a creative activity designed to help you rebuild memory, emotion, and narrative, layer by layer. We'll explore how every torn edge and faded colour can carry meaning, focusing on authenticity and personal expression rather than perfection.
You will have access to a rich archive of inspiring vintage papers, with creative guidance and gentle prompts to help you listen to your inner story. The workshop provides a peaceful space, whether you prefer quiet focus to work through your ideas or enjoy sharing inspiration with others.
Absolutely no art experience is needed to join this workshop. All that is required is a willingness to explore and create in a new way. You will leave with a deeply personal piece of collage art that tells a story – a unique reflection of the past, shaped entirely by you.
About your tutor:
Gamze Özdemir is a picture book writer, translator, who believes it’s never too late to reclaim the magic of childhood. A graduate of Bilkent University and the University of Leicester, she weaves words—and images—across English, French, and Turkish. She explores storytelling through media collage, and she brings stories to life visually, blending text and texture into playful layers. When not chasing stories or sipping milky coffee, she’s exploring new corners of the world. Gamze collects picture books like souvenirs—each one a passport to wonder.
