Malaika is the designer and founder behind Chalk Jewellery, an independent British jewellery brand celebrated for its bold, architectural designs and playful use of colour. For over a decade, she has been creating contemporary jewellery inspired by art, architecture, travel, and culture, with collections stocked by leading cultural institutions and design destinations across the UK.

Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and creativity, Malaika believes that making by hand offers a rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and experience the simple joy of creating something unique.

Through Chalk's workshops, she shares the design process behind her collections, inviting participants to explore colour, composition, and personal expression in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether crafting statement earrings, beaded jewellery, heart charms, or decorative mirrors, guests are encouraged to embrace experimentation and discover their own creative voice.

Malaika has hosted workshops for community groups, private celebrations, and corporate clients, including Sony, creating memorable experiences that bring people together through creativity and making.
