Quilling, sometimes known as paper filigree, is an art practice that involves rolling, shaping and sticking together strips of paper to create attractive designs and decorations. Try this fun paper craft out and learn a new skill whilst making something beautiful.
Hosted by experienced teacher, Nimisha, a lifelong crafter, you'll be shown how to create a beautiful snowflake decoration using strips of white paper finished with diamond stickers. They look gorgeous hanging on a Christmas tree but would look equally lovely gracing a wall or window to add a touch of festive cheer to any room.
From curling paper and creating shapes to sticking diamonds before you string your masterpiece, you'll love the relaxing, meditative technique of creating these yuletide beauties. Try this craft class with your friends or loved ones to get into the spirit of the season – it's a lovely workshop to treat yourself to if you're looking for fun and festive things to do this winter.
Not a natural crafter? Don't worry, as Nimisha will be on hand with plenty of tips and advice to make sure you leave with a snowflake that'll take pride of place on your tree for years to come. You'll also pick up the handy crafting skills to continue to make more at home to create your own winter wonderland!

Mindfulness Craft was created in 2019 in London but we have been running since 2002. We have been successfully running art, craft and cooking workshops and have hosted exciting events like birthday parties, baby showers, hen parties and corporate events (physically and virtually).
Nimisha has previously worked at the Big 4 and has experience of managing corporate life alongside inspiring all around her to find their creative passion.
