Hi, I’m Anne Marie. I love to cook and can't wait to share my knowledge with you. I have taught all ages since 2009 and gained a wealth of experience through my working life (30+ years!).
I have won several awards for my work in the community, including the ClassBento 'local legend' Award 2024!
I provide private, group, and community cooking programmes alongside corporate health and well-being workshops to encourage and enable people to cook from scratch.
I love to bake and teach traditional foods and popular dishes from around the world. I especially enjoy dishes that enable me to use seasonal fruit and vegetables from my allotment.
My sushi, pasta, fakeaway and afternoon tea workshops are very popular!
I also offer a variety of accessible cooking lessons to inspire you to cook regardless of your dietary requirements.
All my cooking experiences emphasise fun, health, sustainability, and affordability. They are simple enough for beginners but also enjoyable for those looking for inspiration in the kitchen.
They are great activities for anyone looking for a birthday or other celebration with a difference!
I provide bespoke private lessons and small group workshops from my home in Warwick, UK. I can also travel across Warwickshire and into the Cotswolds to a venue of your choice.
Cooking lessons are also available live via Zoom in your home. They are perfect for team-building events and bringing family and friends together worldwide.
I am very patient and used to working with beginners and people who are not confident in the kitchen.
I like to show people that cooking does not have to be complicated to taste good. It’s all about confidence in knowing what tastes good together and mastering some basic cooking skills.
I aim to be creative with essential ingredients already in your cupboard, which will inspire you to recreate them again and again. There is no need for fancy ingredient kits to be sent out for online classes.
Anyone can cook with encouragement, and I aim to make cooking a pleasure rather than a chore. I believe in sustainable cooking where possible and finding imaginative ways to use leftovers.
I have many lesson plans not featured in the listings and can provide bespoke private cooking lessons and parties for family, friends, or work colleagues. Feel free to message me with your enquiries.
