  £36 - £40 (£36 for Weekdays; £40 for Weekends)

Enjoy the art of lino printing at Hurriya Art's cosy studio in West London. You'll explore the process of creating your own hand-printed work while sipping tea. Led by interdisciplinary artist Zafeerah, this session offers a focused, supportive environment where you can slow down and engage in a traditional craft.
You'll be introduced to the fundamentals of relief printmaking, with clear, step-by-step guidance throughout. Whether you’re completely new or looking to build confidence, the session is structured to help you develop both skills and ideas as you work.
During the workshop, you will:
Design your motif - Plan a strong image suited to relief printing
Carve your block - Learn how to handle and control carving tools
Ink and print - Understand how to apply ink and transfer your design effectively onto paper
By the end of the session, you’ll have produced a series of original prints, along with your own carved lino block to continue working with independently.
What you'll get
You will leave with completed lino prints and a lino block you have carved, perfect for reuse in your own creations at home.

I’m an interdisciplinary artist and facilitator working across printmaking, illustration, painting, and ceramics. My practice weaves together creativity and community, as a tool for self-expression and to connect with ideas, stories, and social change.
With 8+ years experience leading workshops and community projects, I create spaces that are welcoming, hands-on, and accessible for beginners and experienced makers alike. I love guiding people through creative processes that balance technical skills with experimentation, play, and reflection.
On ClassBento, you’ll find my printmaking, paint & sips, zine/collage and painting workshops - all designed to leave you with new techniques, a piece you’re proud of, and fresh inspiration to keep creating.
My approach connects art-making with education and healing, encouraging participants to slow down, explore both personal creativity and the bigger ideas shaping the world around us.
