Lino Print Christmas Cards Workshop

Open to all adults with little or no experience, this festive lino printing workshop in Shepperton is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit while learning a new craft. There'll be time for some yuletide cheer along the way, with a mince pie and a hot drink included.Vintage Chic ReLoved is a stone's throw from the River Thames, with a stunning on-site café – so you can arrive early or linger afterwards and make a proper morning or afternoon of it.In this workshop, you'll learn how to design a simple lino print Christmas card, transfer your design onto a lino block, and use lino cutting tools to carve out your festive design. You'll then print by hand or on our shared table-top printing press, leaving with your own bespoke Christmas cards and envelopes.This workshop is very practical, and to help you get the most out of the session, it's recommended you come with some simple festive ideas in mind to help maximise your time. You'll have one-to-one time with the tutor throughout, alongside demonstrations to support you.This session is taught by local artist and printmaker Louise Anderson, who holds an MA from Kingston School of Art.Got any special requests or access needs? • Everything you need to make your own unique cards

Please bring:

• Wear old clothing as you'll be using inks
• A sketchbook of ideas you may wish to transfer into print

Please note:Covered shoes must be worn in the workshop, as we'll be using sharp equipment
