Settle In

Grab a seat, get your tea or coffee order in or order something for yourself from the bar. We'll let you relax into the space before we get started with the class.

Learn the Basics of Carving

We'll cover the basics of safe carving with linoprint tools, advising on what it's useful to think about when approaching your design and familiarising you with the process

Get Designing

The fun part! Start drawing, googling and browsing our collage books to find inspiration for your card. Design on paper, transfer it to your block and carve ready for printing

Print Your Piece

Print your new design onto card blanks in colours of your choice – go as bold as you like or choose something more subtle; your call!

Fancy Some Glitter?

The cards will take a little time to dry, but that doesn't mean you can't decorate over them! Use our paints, glitters, gems and sequins to add little sparkly touches to your cards if you wish

Admire Your Creations

Your beautiful lino-printed Christmas cards are ready for you to give to your favourite people this festive season.

In this festive lino printing workshop in London, you’ll learn the basics of lino cutting and printing while creating your own Christmas cards. Starting with a 6x4" lino block, you’ll carve a design of your choice with expert guidance, before inking and printing onto blank cards. By the end of the session, you’ll have a small set of unique hand-printed cards ready to share with loved ones.

The atmosphere in our workshop space is warm, welcoming, and relaxed, making it the perfect setting to unwind and get creative. Tea and coffee are included, and if you’d like to make the session feel extra special, our bar is open with a selection of drinks available to purchase.

If you’d like to expand your creativity even further, you can add an extra piece of lino for just £1 to make two designs, or take home a full set of lino cutting tools for £10 so you can continue printing at home.

This workshop is beginner-friendly – no prior experience is needed. You’ll be guided through safe cutting techniques, how to transfer designs onto lino, and how to print cleanly onto card using simple methods.

Everything you need is provided, including a 6x4" lino block, carving tools, inks, and blank cards. You’ll also get to keep your lino block so you can continue printing at home.

You’ll leave the session not just with a set of gorgeous, hand-printed cards to share with loved ones, but with a newfound confidence in your creative skills.

At Something Good Workshops, we have a fully stocked bar with a great mix of drinks - from craft beers and cocktails to soft drinks and tea and coffee - so you can sip, snack, and have a proper good time! Got any special requests or dietary needs? Just let us know, we’ve got you covered!

We’re also flexible with timings – if the listed slots don’t quite work for you, please don’t be shy about asking for another date or time. Just let us know whether you’d like a private booking, or if you’d prefer us to open up a new time slot for others to join too.

Hi, we’re Emily and Jess, the creative minds behind Something Good Workshops!

Our journey began in 2019 when Emily launched Something Good Workshops (originally known as MADEptford) as a way to spread crafty joy and raise funds for running the London Marathon. What started as a one-time idea quickly grew into a passion for bringing people together through creativity. Since then, we’ve hosted a wide variety of workshops, from arm knitting to body casting, in all kinds of spaces - corporate offices, cosy pubs, pop-up shops, and even people’s homes.

After taking a short break, we’re back with fresh energy and an exciting new partnership. Jess has joined the team, and together, we’re on a mission to spark joy and empower people to explore their creativity in relaxing, welcoming spaces. We believe there’s something magical about slowing down, working with your hands, and leaving with something you’ve made yourself - whether it’s a chunky knit blanket, a personal shrine, or a collage bursting with personality.

What makes us unique? We’re all about creating an environment where people feel at ease, whether they’re a total beginner or a seasoned maker.
